The community initiative at our factory in Driffield, East Yorkshire, continues into 2024 with our pledge to sponsor monthly coffee mornings organised by the Driffield Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club (AFVBC) throughout the year.
Reds10 employs several veterans and reservists and regular veterans' commitee meetings are held to discuss how we can help, support and further recruit from the armed forces.
In 2023, we deepend our partnership with BuildForce and were awarded the Armed Forces Covenant Employer Recognition Scheme Silver Award (work is ongoing to achieve the Gold Award in future), so this sponsorship is a natural extension of our work in this area.
Our connection with the armed forces runs throughout our projects as well.
“Supporting the armed forces is something that is, unsurprisingly, dear to Reds10. Whether that is on our projects, where the armed forces are a key client and partner, or within our company. Several of our team members were proudly armed forces personnel in the past. This includes not just myself and my son, who also works for Reds10 and is currently a Reservist, but also our Non-Executive Director and colleagues across our sites, factory and offices.”
