Significant progress is being made on the exciting rebuild project at Wombourne High School, part of the Invictus Education Trust. This month marked a major milestone with the arrival of the first modules for the new STEM building, which will revolutionise the educational experience for current and future students.
The new facilities will feature cutting-edge Science, Design, Technology, and Music learning spaces. These resources are designed to equip students with the skills they need to thrive in their chosen career paths, whether progressing to selective universities, pursuing degree apprenticeships, or exploring a variety of employment and training opportunities.
"It is fantastic to see the facilities, which will transform the educational experience for our studeents, starting to take shape. The new building will provide better resources for current students and for future generations, and a secure and welcoming, state-of-the-art environment for students to learn, enabling them to reach their full potential. We are incredibly excited to work with Reds10 and the Department for Education in the coming months to support the final phases of this project".
Claire Powell, Headteacher, Wombourne High School

The collaborative approach to the development has brought together Wombourne High School with key partners, including construction partner Reds10, the Department for Education, and the Local Authority. Together, these teams are working to deliver a facility that will provide an unparalleled educational environment.
The project is on track for completion, with teaching set to begin in the new building in Autumn 2025.
