From Management and Administration to Quantity Surveying, T-Level Success with Reds10

Yesterday, Zakariya Siddiqui, one of Reds10’s first T-Level students received his results, achieving a Merit in Management and Administration.

T-Levels are a new two-year course, launched by the Government in 2020, and are broadly equivalent to three A-Levels. Reds10 became an early adopter of the T-Level programme, hosting our first students in 2022.

Zak joined Reds10 as part of his Management and Administration T-Level in September 2022, alongside studying for his course at Saint Francis Xavier college. The T-Level required him to complete 315 hours of work experience, where he spent 3 days a week in college, and 2 days with Reds10.

Throughout his time at Reds10 Zak alternated between different departments, shadowing members of the team and assisting with their work.

After successfully completing his T-Level, Zak returned to Reds10 in the summer of 2024 to carry out a two-week placement, where he supported the Commercial Lead.

Over this time, Zak decided that he was interested in doing a degree in Quantity Surveying as he enjoyed his time with the commercial team, and the versatility of the role. As a result, he is studying for a Degree Apprenticeship in HNC Construction (Quantity Surveying Technician) at London Southbank University, working at Reds10 as part of his degree. The part-time course lasts for 5 years, meaning he will be working at Reds10 for 4 days a week and will be at university for 1 day.

“The work that Reds10 do, especially with schools and supporting young people in their educational journey, like they did for me, is amazing".
