Reds10 donate modular space to Helen & Douglas House Hospice

Helen & Douglas House care for terminally ill children, young adults and their families in Oxford and the surrounding counties, supporting them through the toughest of times. At the hospice, dedicated staff help families to make the most of their time together and create loving memories during their children’s short lives.

CRASH, the construction industry’s charity of which we are patrons, approached Reds10 with a project to provide a much-needed social space for the Hospice. Our CEO, Paul Ruddick, visited the location and was moved by the care provided at the facility. It was the perfect opportunity for us to give back, donating our time, expertise and materials.

Working alongside CRASH patron Masterson Holdings, who completed the groundworks, we manufactured, installed and fitted out the modular building, which will serve as a breakout space for the residents of the hospice, completely free of charge.

Francesca Roberts, Chief Executive of CRASH, had this to say about the project:

“CRASH charity is so grateful to everyone at our Patron companies REDS10 and Masterson Holdings Limited for this brilliant and tangible gift that will help teenagers with life limiting illnesses.  This is an example of social impact at it's very best and will have a profound effect for young people and their families for years to come.  Thank you.”
