Eden Boys' School, Birmingham

Project Details

Part of the Tauheedul Education Trust, Eden Boys’ School in Birmingham is a progressive, inclusive and outward-looking faith-based (Islamic) secondary school for boys. Eden Boys’ School, Birmingham aim to foster a love of learning in each of their pupils, as they believe this passion for learning will carry them to achieving high academic standards and results. Opening to 150 students in September 2015, Eden Boys’ needs to cater for the increasing number of students, as they move through the education system, with a plan to host 500 11-16 year olds in 2019 and a further 200 sixth form students in 2019.

With this ambitious growth plan in mind, Reds10 were brought thanks to their expertise in similar projects in the educational sector, specifically in providing fit for purpose specialised teaching spaces for increasing numbers of students.

Reds10 successfully delivered a mixture of exciting new spaces, including state-of-the-art Science Lab, fully fitted kitchen, dining hall, sports hall, fitness suite, built in teaching wall and much more. Liaising closely with all parties involved, Reds10 were able to deliver a project - the third of 11 schemes Reds10 are set to deliver for the Tauheedul Education Trust – which matches Eden Boys’ focus on keeping their students grounded – understanding their responsibilities and the important role they have in improving their communities.
