The role of HR Assistant at Reds10
To support the HR team with all HR administration and coordination. The HR Assistant contributes to the overall efficiency and productivity of the HR team by maintaining organised systems and providing support on people policies, practices and processes across our offices, factory and construction sites. To ensure that Reds10 are fully compliant with employment legislation and that people policies, processes and systems are well maintained.
Your accountabilities as the HR assistant at Reds10:
- Employee experience and satisfaction in line with Reds10 purpose and philosophies
- Effectiveness and quality of HR administrative activities
- Quality HR support to our people
- Compliance with employment law, regulations, and company policies
- Compliance with all Reds10 ISO/BOPAS requirements such as following company policies and procedures, attending compulsory training sessions and actively working towards objectives
Your responsibilities when you join Reds10 as a HR assistant:
- Respond to all HR queries through email, telephone and in-person
- Manage the HR inbox, flagging any urgent or sensitive queries to the HR Manager/HR Advisor
- Act as the primary point of contact for the HR team, redirecting, signposting and gatekeeping where necessary
- Maintain and update our HR systems, documentation, templates and filing systems
- Perform updates and regular audits of the HR system and internal trackers, flagging any issues or required changes to the HR Manager/HR Advisor
- Prepare and administer official HR contracts, letters and documentation, including new starter forms
- Collate data and pull relevant HR reports regarding sick leave, new starters, working from home, signing in etc.
- Manage the new starter process ensuring contracts are signed and filed appropriately, updating relevant trackers, communicating with IT and line managers, sending MyReds10 app link, ensuring induction plans are in place and equipment orders
- Undertake set-up of new starters on IHASCO
- Support the HR Advisor with the onboarding and induction process, including the HR induction programme
- Administration and coordination of the probation process
- Support the HR Advisor with administration of our Reds10 benefits
- Assist the HR Advisor with monthly payroll data collection, keeping track of absences, sick days and annual leave
- Support the administration of our company cars and car leasing
- Assist with the administration of leavers
- Undertake notetaking in meetings where required, maintaining confidentiality at all times and handle sensitive information appropriately
- Support with the administration and coordination on a number of HR projects, including the wellbeing programme and line manager training programme
- Assist the Learning and Development Advisor with booking and arranging training courses, including health and safety training for our site teams, maintaining an up-to-date log to ensure we are compliant as a business
Key Skills required for a HR assistant at Reds10:
- Experience in undertaking administrative duties in an office environment
- Able to develop and maintain excellent working relationships and build trust with all staff across the business
- Excellent decision-making abilities
- Comprehensive note-taking skills
- Strong communication skills, ability to write and express information clearly and concisely
- Ethical and transparent approach to business
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, dealing effectively with complex and competing demands
- Excellent organisational skills with an aptitude for managing multiple priorities with ease
- Superb prioritisation and time management skills
