Reds10 has won the Contractor of the Year (under £500m) award at the 2023 Construction News Awards.
The inspirational winners of the 2023 Construction News Awards were crowned in front of the industry on Thursday 13 July at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
The Construction News Awards, celebrating its 27th year in 2023, brought together 1,200 of the UK’s leading clients and contractors for a glittering evening of celebration, recognition and networking. After face-to-face review by a panel of 100+ expert judges, Reds10 was awarded Contractor of the Year (under £500m).
The judges praised Reds10 as a firm showing the way forward, delivering a broad set of societal outcomes by adapting platform principles, taking innovative approaches, and owning risk.
“The story of the past year has been one of continued uncertainty for construction firms, with inflation providing huge challenges to projects, particularly those being undertaken on fixed-price contract. However, the 2023 CN Awards winners prove the ongoing resilience of an industry that gets things done, even on the lowest of margins. The range of innovation and construction excellence on display is truly breathtaking.
“Once again, our judging process was thorough and rigorous, with shortlisted entries asked to present in front of peers from the top of our industry. With a plethora of high-quality entries, credit is due to all those who were shortlisted, not just the winners and shortlisted entrants. The awards prove that construction remains the most exciting and inspiring industry to work in.”
