Reds10 celebrates partnership with BuildForce

BuildForce is a construction industry programme, that supports our service leaver and veteran community, from the Royal Air Force, British Army, Royal Navy and Royal Marines, transition into trade and professional careers within the industry.

The programme is nationwide and offers a complement of services focused on pre-employment, employment, education and mental health, with a sustainable vision centring around long-term careers which are both challenging and rewarding.

BuildForce is dedicated to improving skills and diversity in construction by recruiting from the incredible talent of our service leavers and veterans. Their services focus on making the industry more accessible with transparency on careers available, by using their tailored programme for your pathway into the industry. They cover construction, homebuilding, infrastructure, logistics, utilities, security, engineering, consultancy and facilities.

Reds10 have recently joined the BuildForce Alliance of employers and have committed not only to providing permanent career opportunities, apprenticeships and work experience but also to delivering mentoring, career advice and support to service leavers in all phases of their transition and particularly to veterans looking to get into the construction sector.

To officially celebrate our partnership, Reds10 were excited to be able to sponsor BuildForce’s first British Army Inter Corps Boxing event – RLC v REME in November 2022.

The evening raised awareness of the links between sport and well-being and raised funds for the Army Corps boxing, Combat Stress: The Veterans'​ Mental Health Charity and the BuildForce Mental Health programme.

And it was a great excuse to get a selection of our ex-armed forces colleagues together with those in the Reserves and civilians too!
