Following a period of strong and profitable growth, Reds10 are excited to be joined by Major General David Southall CBE FInstRE. David joins as Non-Executive Director, helping to shape a sustainable growth strategy and ensure good governance during a period of sustained growth.

David’s military experience spans 33 years, from construction tasks in Africa and the Middle East to leading UK’s Bomb disposal campaign and delivering reconstruction and development in Afghanistan.
He commanded the Royal School of Military Engineering Group, directing the Army’s largest Public Private Partnership prior to serving as Chief of Staff Home Command and Standing Joint Command (UK) where he directed Army recruiting, training and UK-based resilience operations, with the latter including MOD’s contingency planning to other government departments in preparation for a no-deal BREXIT.
Most recently, he served as the Army’s Climate Change and Sustainability Champion and as Director of Army Basing and Infrastructure. He held full Army Board responsibility for the built and training estate, delivering as SRO across multiple Government infrastructure Programmes.
He still works as a Government Major Project Portfolio (GMPP) high risk reviewer supporting the Cabinet Office and IPA as an MPLA alumni, alongside other consulting roles, from renewable energy projects to EOD! He is a Charity Patron, Trustee Chair, and Vice President of the Institution of Royal Engineers.
