Single Living Accommodation
Reds10 has played a key role in transforming Single Living Accommodation (SLA) for the UK Defence sector and is now one of five contractors on the SLA Alliance, supporting the MOD’s commitment to improving the lived experience of service personnel. Using modern methods of construction (MMC), Reds10 has delivered high-quality, energy-efficient, and net-zero carbon in operation accommodation, as seen at Imjin Barracks.
These modular buildings provide comfortable, durable, and modern living spaces, ensuring a better quality of life for personnel while meeting the MOD’s sustainability and efficiency goals.
Re-Deployable Accommodation Units
Reds10’s Re-Deployable Accommodation Units (RAUs) are innovative, pre-designed, steel-framed modular units tailored to meet a range of accommodation requirements.
These units provide a secure, efficient, and dignified solution for temporary housing needs, with proven use by UK Armed Forces personnel across the Defence Estate.
Net Carbon Accommodation Programme
Reds10’s Net Carbon Accommodation Programme (NetCAP) successfully delivered net-zero carbon in operation accommodation across the Defence Training Estate. Using industrialised production, the programme provided high-quality, modern buildings that integrated renewable energy sources, smart building management systems, and passive design principles to minimise environmental impact.
The NetCAP units achieved EPC A+ ratings and DEC A operational performance, setting a new benchmark for sustainable Defence infrastructure. Supporting the MoD’s carbon reduction goals, the programme demonstrated how energy-efficient, future-proofed accommodation could be delivered at speed and scale.
Combined Joint Operations Centre
Reds10’s Combined Joint Operations Centre (CJOC) provides state-of-the-art operational facilities for the Defence sector.
Designed for efficiency, flexibility, and rapid deployment, these buildings feature Operation Rooms, Briefing Rooms, Office Space, and Washrooms, supporting critical command functions. Available in single- and double-storey configurations, CJOC buildings deliver secure, high-performance environments that meet modern military demands.
With a focus on energy efficiency and sustainability, these facilities combine cutting-edge design with rapid construction, ensuring Defence teams have the infrastructure needed to operate effectively.
We are deeply experienced in navigating the rigorous security and regulatory criteria inherent in defence projects. And, by completing up to 87% of building units offsite, our industrialised construction methodology enables faster delivery, better energy efficiency and a higher quality product.
