Reds10 are thrilled to have won 'Offsite Project of the Year' at the Building Awards 2021, held at Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
The Building Awards are one of the most prestigious awards of the construction industry, so it was a real honour not only to be shortlisted alongside some impressive projects, but also to be able to attend the awards ceremony in person.
Two of our projects Addington SEN School and Parkside: Imperial War Museums' Staff Offices were up for the Offsite Project of the Year category and it is with great pride that representatives of Team Reds10 were able to accept the trophy for Parkside, now a multi-award winning project.
Thank you to everyone involved in the Parkside project. On a difficult site in central London, this is a prime example of architectural quality and non-standard finishes delivered using modern methods of construction. The scheme, designed by Jestico + Whiles, was completed in half the time if using traditional methods, with 80% of it built in Reds10’s factory. This approach also enabled a 40% reduction in embodied carbon.
What a way to end the 2021 awards season!
