Your role

Are you a dynamic, experienced Senior Site Manager with a track record of leading transformative construction projects within live, operational school environments? Are you within easy commute of Wombourne, South Staffordshire? If so, this opportunity with Reds10 could be for you.

We're embarking on a thrilling £17m, two-year project, constructing a new high school in Wombourne. This venture will require your expertise in managing construction within a live, operational school setting, which includes the creation of temporary teaching accommodations, the demolition of existing structures, and the building of new ones.

As our Senior Site Manager, you will be expected to uphold the highest standards of Health and Safety on site, oversee quality checks, and manage the day-to-day running of the project. You will ensure that the project stays within its schedule and budget, and swiftly address any arising issues.

 

What We Expect From You

You will be responsible for the project’s performance in terms of time, cost, quality, and client satisfaction. You will inspire your onsite team, manage site HSE processes, and handle site management issues.

 

Key Skills

This project will have big challenges and it is essential that you have live operational school experience as there will be major H&S challenges.

We are seeking an inspirational leader with excellent organisational and time management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential. We expect our senior site manager to have proven abilities to review and improve processes and procedures, looking for innovative and creative solutions.

You should have excellent people management skills, with a track record of developing a team, along with the ability to build trust across all levels of the team internally and externally. An aptitude for problem-solving, great attention to detail, numerical literacy, and the ability to understand and apply feedback on work performance is also crucial.
