We are looking to hire an Project Manager to work with our existing project management team to deliver our amazing spaces on time and on budget.

The Role

As a Project Manager, you will be accountable for the initiation, planning, execution, regulation and final completion of projects.  You will be responsible for delivering outputs, managing the team operations and achieving the agreed goals set within the project scope

You will be based in our London office (details below), but the role does involve regular travel to our active project sites.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Be the central point throughout project lifecycles, promoting best practice and company policies at each stage
  • Adopt a ‘no surprises’ approach in all aspects of communication, both internally and externally
  • Guiding the clients throughout all project stages, providing frequent, high-quality communication and developing strong relationships.
  • Ensure that timeframe targets are met throughout the project
  • Follow up with external stakeholders to ensure timely response
  • Plan resources requirements (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish with attention to budgetary limitation
  • Work with the commercial team to highlight changes to project scope to drive commercially successful projects, as well as establishing budgets for the site operations team and negotiating contracts with external vendors
  • Oversee the design stage process, working with the Design Manager to develop a coordinated set of Contractors Proposals whilst achieving the Employer’s Requirements
  • Guide projects through the planning application process including pre-app process with the local authority, work alongside consultants to submit successful planning applications, and discharging of planning conditions.
  • Work alongside the commercial team to negotiate contracts with external vendors to reach profitable agreements
  • Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities
  • Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met with the operations team
  • Ensure the highest H&S standards are maintained on site
  • Evaluate progress and prepare detailed reports
  • Ensure that the required BIM standards are met

Skills & Experience

  • Degree in Project/Construction management or a related discipline. Equivalent work experience will also be considered.
  • Demonstratable project management experience, including experience of the pre-construction process
  • Member of APM/RICS/CIOB or equivalent professional organisation, or aspiring to attaining membership
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to pass information clearly and accurately 
  • A solid understanding of BIM requirements as it relates to project management
  • Able to effectively chair and lead meetings
  • Exemplary customer service and strong interpersonal skills
  • The ability to operate analysis and communication software such as MS Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint 
  • The ability to quickly upskills in platforms and software used at Reds10
  • A goal-oriented mindset and good organisational skills
  • Willingness to tackle challenges to solve problems
  • Great attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • The ability to understand and apply feedback on work performance
