Due to continued robust growth, we are now looking to recruit a part-time HR Coordinator to join our team at our Factory in Driffield.

The Role

You will be responsible for the end-to-end cycle of employment for our growing team of 110 employees and will assist the HR team in delivering an efficient and effective HR service.

This is a part-time role, working 25 hours per week, with some flexibility on work pattern.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Issuing offer letters and contracts
  • Maintaining employee records (spreadsheets and online database when available)
  • Payroll notifications
  • Monitoring employee referral payments
  • Right to work checks
  • Arranging induction process, including liaising with IT for system and hardware setup
  • Arranging interviews and personality profiles
  •  Managing the inbox – responding to all candidates, forwarding CVs
  • Managing in-employment changes (salary increases etc)
  • Managing the probation process
  • Leavers' letters and arranging exit interviews
  • Training administration including apprenticeship registration, training agreements
  • Reference letters
  • Chasing performance reviews, recording completion and training needs
  • Managing the annual leave calendar
  • Managing e-filing, ensuring records are up to date
  • Arranging gifts for staff when applicable (e.g. to celebrate a new baby or wedding)

Skills & Experience

  • -Prior experience in a fast-paced HR team
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office
  • Knowledge of HR systems an advantage
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • The ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
  • A positive, can-do mindset
  • An excellent command of the English language (verbal and written)
  • The ability to present information in a clear and concise manner
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the confidence to build relationships at all levels
