The Role

Reds10 is a growing, ambitious company, and we are looking for an enthusiastic and equally ambitious individual to join our team. We offer an exceptional opportunity to work on challenging projects across the UK and across a range of industries. You will be involved in work that is central to our business, gaining immediate exposure to people and relevant processes.

 

Responsibilities

  • Undertaking reviews of the design, procurement and construction information to ensure compliance with project documentation, client’s output specifications, and statutory requirements
  • Reviewing and approving of consultant’s design and sub-contractor’s drawings to ensure coordination among various trades
  • Coordinating 3D designs across different disciplines using Revit, BIM360 Design Suite and AEC Autodesk collection. Undertaking clash detection
  • Reviewing and collaborating with our factory and site teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance of all necessary Environmental Certifications i.e., BREEAM / DREAM /Passivhaus
  • Responsible for Building Control applications
  • Conducting site/factory visits and report back to Design Manager.
  • Running Design Team Meetings, tracking actions and managing design consultants
  • Submitting design packs to client, and responding to client comments and coordinating responses from our design team
  • Information management in accordance with ISO 19650
  • Assisting the Design Manager with their Principal Designer role in accordance with CDM 2015
  • Producing construction site setup plans in AutoCAD with support from Project Manager
 

Qualifications & Skills

  • Relevant degree (Architecture, Structural & Civil Engineering, Construction Management etc)
  • Design background demonstrating strong technical abilities
  • Previous placement experience in: Design management role for main contractor, Modular construction, Education sector or RIBA Stages 4 & 5.
  • Strong working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel, project management tools and administration skills
  • Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills
  • Experience in RIBA Stages 4-5
