Due to continued and robust growth, we are looking for an Architectural Technician, helping to deliver our amazing spaces on time and on budget.

The Role

As Architectural Technician, you will:

  • Ensure that the technical design for each of the projects is delivered within agreed time, cost and quality standards.
  • Co-ordinate consultant design through to construction.
  • Produce Reds10 standard details.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Approve RIBA Stage 4 information to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Produce accurate RIBA Stage 5 information based on Contractor proposals.

  • Common Data Environment via BIM360 Design Suite. All workflows and information exchange through BIM360.

  • Manage 3D coordination of multiple disciplines using BIM360 Design Suite and AEC Autodesk collection. All base design completed with Revit.

  • Follow the standards set by the Design Manager & Technical Team.

  • Review and collaborate with the factory and site team to resolve technical issues.   

  • BIM L2 Role (Task Manager): The Task Team Manager is responsible for the production of design output that facilitates the production of such elements of the design that relate to that task. Tasks are often discipline based, so the Task Team Manager is usually a discipline head, responsible to the Lead Designer. 

Key Results/Objectives

  • Delivery of high-quality RIBA stage 4 and 5 documentation.

  • Maximising project efficiency through intelligent design solutions, ensuring continuity of design to the team and buildable details.

  • Continuous improvement of internal processes and design practices.
